The conditions for today’s qualifications were amazing. During the training it was foggy and snowing, but when the competition started, the weather cleared, and the spectacular scenery and nature of Lillehammer appeared.
With great conditions, came great jumps. Kamil Stoch, the overall leader, jumped 139, 5 meters in Lysgårdsbakken, and won today’s qualifications. Dawid Kubacki jumped 131,5 meters and came in second. Robert Johansson, who’s on his home turf, jumped 131 meters and ended up in third place.
Tomorrow it individual competition here in Lillehammer. The weather forecast predicts great weather, and hopefully there will be many spectators, cheering for their favourite.
